Need a developer or teammate to help with a site? Instead of sharing your login, invite them as a collaborator. They get full management access to that one site — but cannot delete it or manage other collaborators, and never see your other sites or billing.

Invite a collaborator

  1. Open the site and go to Collaborators.
  2. Enter their email address and click Send invitation.
  3. They receive an invite link to accept. Until they do, the invitation shows as Awaiting acceptance — you can Copy link to send it yourself, or Revoke it.
What collaborators can do: manage the site — files, databases, staging, backups, domains, and settings. What they can’t: delete the site, manage other collaborators, or touch your account and billing.

Removing access

Click Remove next to a collaborator to revoke their access instantly. When a freelancer or agency finishes a project, remove them — and, if they had SFTP or database credentials, rotate those too.

Tips & tricks

  • One site, one scope. Collaborator access is per-site — invite a developer only to the project they are working on.
  • Prefer collaborators over shared logins. It keeps your other sites and billing private and lets you revoke access cleanly.
  • Combine with staging. Give a developer a staging site to work on, then you push the approved result to live yourself.
