Sometimes you need direct access to your site files \u2014 uploading a large theme, editing wp-config.php<\/code>, or clearing a stuck plugin. You can connect to any Kelma site with a standard SFTP client such as FileZilla, Cyberduck, or WinSCP. This guide shows you where the credentials live and how to connect safely.<\/p>\n\n

Find your credentials<\/h2>\n

Open your site and look for the Connection Details<\/strong> card on the overview page. There you will find everything you need:<\/p>\n

For security, revealing the password may ask you to confirm your account password first. You can also rotate the password from the same card at any time.<\/p>\n\n

Connect with your client<\/h2>\n
  1. Open your FTP client and create a new connection.<\/li>
  2. Set the protocol to SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol)<\/strong>.<\/li>
  3. Enter the host<\/strong>, username<\/strong>\u0648 password<\/strong> from the Connection Details card.<\/li>
  4. Use port 22<\/strong> and connect.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n
    Always use SFTP, never plain FTP.<\/strong> SFTP encrypts your connection and credentials end-to-end. Plain FTP sends your password in clear text and should never be used on a production site.<\/div>\n\n

    Where your files live<\/h2>\n

    Once connected, your site files sit under the root path shown on the same overview card \u2014 typically something like \/home\/your-user\/yoursite.com<\/code>. Inside you will find the familiar WordPress structure: wp-content\/<\/code> for themes, plugins, and uploads, plus wp-config.php<\/code> at the root. Edit only what you intend to; the rest of WordPress core is best updated from the dashboard.<\/p>\n\n
